Mayo’s Service Center, Ltd

In 1984 Mark Mayo purchased Leimert Office Supply (4334 Crenshaw Blvd) in the heart of South Central Los Angeles.  Through focusing his business on the African American community, and taking advantage of the Affirmative Action policies of the City of Los Angeles and The Los Angeles School District Leimert Office Supply became the largest black owned office supply dealer in Los Angeles.

In May 1992 Leimert Office Supply was burned down in the Los Angeles Riot.  Mark moved back to his hometown Columbus, Ohio and opened Mayo’s Printing and Office Supply on Mt. Vernon Avenue. Still focusing his business on the African American Community and taking advantage of the City of Columbus, and Columbus Public Schools efforts to support minority business.

In February 2006, Mayo’s Printing is still focusing it’s business on the African American Community by opening Mayo’s Printing and Multimedia Group.  Our efforts are to serve our neighborhoods by improving the way Minority Businesses operate. Mayo’s would like to raise the standard by offering a more professional appearance, and by helping them promote, market, and advertise their business.

We also bring professional services, convenience, and a low price to the neighborhood.  Example: Copies, faxing, typing, emailing, computer services, etc.
